Our mission is to enhance educational-, research-, scientific- and social services for nursing, mental health nursing and midwifery.  We strive to accomplish this mission through partnership with patients and their organisations, creativity, sustainability and a focus on social relevance.

The UCVV aims to train talented and innovative people to be the future leaders in nursing and midwifery.  Our Master’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery contributes fundamentally to the improvement of patient quality care.

The UCVV believes that through the development, validation and implementation of scientific knowledge, a more responsible, evidence-based and efficient healthcare organisation.

Our mission is to support the research competencies of professionals in the field of nursing and midwifery through innovative research methods and targeted educational programs.  We aim to achieve this through support, cooperation and partnership with governments, knowledge institutes, healthcare institutes, and industry – both locally and internationally.
